The Urals had beenalready famous for their wealth to the ancient Greeks, who called them the Riphean. Here the legendary Hyperborea originated and it is referred to brick making lines. Stroytekhnika Plant was founded in 1990. Then engineers in the defense industry of Zlatoust machine plant decided to stop the development of rockets for the state centre named after Makeev and use their talents for peaceful purposes. Design, patent and manufacture happened in the shortest time possible and Stroytekhnika Plant was opened in 1992. Funds for the construction of brand new production facility were not hard to find – it was the profit from the already sold equipment.

Since then and until today, Stroytekhnika Plant works with the same rate. Even when the Russian economy was on the brink of collapse, work places were created and taxes were paid regularly here. Throughout Russia and in foreign countries (including the Baltic States) products of Stroytekhnika Plant operate successfully, including more than four thousand units of Rifey equipment.

Now it is the largest producer of brick making equipment in Russia that manufactures construction materials by semi-dry vibration compaction of mixture on cement binder. The undoubted advantage of this method is the use of cheap local inert materials – slag, gravel screenings, sand, ash, sawdust, expanded clay and so on.

Rifey lines produced by Stroytekhnika Plant offer the possibility of producing the highest quality stones of different colors and various shapes. Thanks to this, production facilities, houses, public squares and sidewalks have a specific, unique look.

Rifey equipment allows producing hundreds of construction products varieties. The core list includes foundation blocks of small size, stair tread, the elements of fence fabric, planters, curbs, parapets. And also all kinds of paving blocks and cladding stones, wall and partition stones, special stones for monolithic formwork beams and columns. There also are trays, fence posts, lattices for slopes and much more in the list.

The range of building products manufactured on Rifey equipment is constantly being modernized. Partly it is due to the operative communication with the customers who have already bought the equipment and whose feedback lies beneath the new products.

Rifey equipment has initially been designed with technical solutions that provide cost minimization, simplify the conditions of production, allow to manufacture building materials of high modern standards in the required amount. All customers without any exception are confident that the Stroytekhnika equipment can produce a full range of necessary building materials. From cellar to roof without any compromises. Stroytekhnika machines produce not only the materials for foundations and walls, but also for roof cladding.

As a result, inexpensive, completely autonomous, easy-to-work and repairable Russian Rifey lines have formed the basis of accessible domestic housing. After fifteen years Stroytekhnika have carved out a niche in the dynamically developing building materials market. Rifey has proved its right to use vibration compaction equipment in the production of small piece concrete stones.

In Zlatoust eight Rifeys were enough to change the town image profoundly. Land improvement and building activity resulted in a great number of renovated facades, renewed edge stones on the roads, slabs in gardens and pavements, growth of low-rise housing construction.

Rifey equipment plays a significant role in reconstructing destroyed Chechnya. There have already been built the housing for refugees, military towns, customs and border posts. That is a vivid example of finding a solution to almost impossible task in challenging times!
